ER Nurse- PERM Day or Noc

Evolve Healthcare is seeking Emergency Room Registered Nurses for a full time permanent role in Yuma Arizona!

Unit ER/ED Shift 12 hour days or nights available Trauma Level STEMI Receiving Stroke Center Level 3 trauma STEMI and Stroke receiving will ship out if stroke intervention required # of Beds/Trauma Bays 52 with 4 trauma bays Do you have a Fast Track 6 fast track beds Do you have a separate Triage area If so do you allow/require travelers to do Triage quick look2 areas. Use ESI. Do you have a separate holding area in the ER or are ER holds intermixed w/in the ER intermixed Is Security inhouse 24/7 Housed in the ER office is right by lobby of ED Housed in ER 24/7 On average how many patients do you treat in the ER/day 200/day Required Certifications (i.e. BLS ACLS PALS TNCC ENPC NRP NIHSS) BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS; TNCCpreferred Experience or Must have skills: Must have 2 years in EMERGENCY. Common drips: ICU gtts for hold patients ICU will come help with these if able. ED Physician &/or MidLevels staffed Generally how many are on at a time Varied shifts for MDs/ Midlevels/Peds board certified on shift as well. Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift Does the charge nurse take an assignment Chargefree; House Supervisor can assist if needed. Are there nurse aids/EMT/Paramedics/Patient Sitters on each shift Ratios Duties ED techs 2 years or more expEKG vitals blood draws splints
PCA less than 2 years exp same duties Is RT in the ER 24/7 Do they do ABGs breathing Tx & EKGs RT is assignedABGs neb tx vent CPAP RT Equipment (Vents Cpap BiPap High Flow etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot Glidescope
Hamilton and Phillips vents Do you have Tele/Monitor Techs in the ER Are RNs required to read their own strips What brand are the Tele monitors RN must read own tele also have monitor tech as well. XRay or CT in the ER Transport Dedicated CT and Xray in the ER also have transport teamRN will accompany if critical patient Does Phlebotomy draw labs or RNs draw ED techs will do labs or RNs can draw off IV starts. Hospitalist &/or Intensivist inhouse 24/7 Hospitalist in house 24/7 Is there a House Supervisor 24/7 Yes house supervisor 24/7 EMR: EPIC. Epic experience preferred.
