LVN LPN - LTC

Position: LPN/LVN LTC

Location: Seattle WA 98108

Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension

Shift: Day 5x8Hour (08:00 16:30)

Pay: 0/hour

The LPN / LVN participates coordinates and provides direct nursing care in a manner which ensures participants satisfaction and retention. Assists with medication orders and delivery coordinating with the physician RN transportation and home care. Assists physicians and nursing staff with a variety of tasks including but not limited to vital signs wound care medication administration/management treatments patient teaching venipuncture and microcoagulation catheter care foot care administration/reading PPD tests and participant set up for physician visit. Performs duties in a variety of settings including the community the Center and the Clinic. May be asked to perform duties on weekends.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Experience in Outpatient clinic or acute care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with neonatal ventilators and experience in caring for newborns is a plus.
• Proficiency in administering injections including Botox injections is desired.
• Knowledge of family planning methods and counseling is beneficial.

Licenses and certifications:

• Valid LPN license of state WA.
• BLS.
• Covid card.
