EXPERIENCED HOUSEKEEPER NEEDED FOR A PRIVATE HOUSEHOLD IN GERMANY

Location: AltBogenhausen Munich
Contract: FullTime Permanent

An exciting new opportunity awaits a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper ready to make a lasting commitment with a lovely family of four. As a rota housekeeper you will be entrusted with the care and upkeep of the familys newly finished primary residence in AltBogenhausen Munich. This position offers a chance to work in a team alongside another housekeeper and 2 cleaners ensuring that this 6bedroom home is maintained to the highest standard yearround.

With an excellent eye for detail you will have good knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine furnishings materials and fabrics. Energetic and flexible in your approach you will be responsible reliable and consistent in your daytoday tasks. Responsible for general housekeeping laundry and ironing you will also prepare breakfast light meals and occasional dinners for the family and be responsible for laying and clearing the table.

Other responsibilities will include grocery shopping errand running and liaising with external service providers such as gardeners and maintenance companies ensuring the smooth running of the property. The ideal candidate will be attentive wellpresented and have a strong work ethic and positive attitude whilst still remaining discreet and boundaried offering an unobtrusive service. Having a full EU driving license is essential for this role.

Working 40 hours per week you will manage your time effectively to ensure the home is always well maintained and spotless flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is imperative for this role. During the week and over weekends shift work is desired however flexible working hours are key. Should the candidate need to relocate for this opportunity the family is willing to assist in finding suitable accommodation for the housekeeper near their home an extra 500 a month will go towards
accommodation the rest will need to be covered by the candidate.

Tasks

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Professional cleaning including dusting hoovering mopping changing beds cleaning
bathrooms
Exclusive laundry care (silk cashmere etc)
Grocery shopping and errand running such as arranging dry cleaning going to the post office
etc.
Laying and clearing tables providing table service when required
Breakfast preparation for the family
Supervision and coordination of tradesmen
Light gardening when necessary and ensuring exterior areas are maintained

Requirements

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Professional experience and longevity as a housekeeper in an UHNW household
Excellent knowledge of cleaning products and caring for highend furnishings and surfaces
Independent and proactive way of working
Discreet boundaried and unobtrusive
Fluency in English and German desired
Cooking skills are desirable (Breakfast and light meals)
Willingness to work on weekends and during the holiday season
Right to live and work in the EU
Full EU driving license
Excellent checkable references from previous employers

Benefits

The family is willing to assist in finding suitable accommodation for the housekeeper near their home so an extra 500 a month will go towards accommodation if the candidate is not based in Munich already.
