• Monitor security events and alerts from various sources including SIEM IDS/IPS firewalls and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Conduct thorough analysis and investigation of security incidents to determine root cause impact and appropriate response actions.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement and enforce security policies standards and procedures.
• Develop and maintain security incident response playbooks workflows and documentation.
• Perform vulnerability assessments penetration testing and security audits to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in tabletop exercises and security incident response drills to validate and improve incident response processes.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and trends to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Assist in the deployment configuration and tuning of security technologies to enhance our defensive posture.
• Provide guidance and support to IT and development teams on security best practices and compliance requirements.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations incident response or related roles.
• Handson experience with SIEM IDS/IPS EDR firewalls and other security technologies.
• Proficiency in security incident response procedures and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP GIAC CEH or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience with cloud security DevSecOps and container security is a plus.
