Stand Up Forklift Driver High Reach Freezer

We are seeking an experienced High Reach Stand Up Forklift Operator for our freezer warehouse. This essential role involves safely operating high reach forklifts within a cold storage environment to efficiently manage our inventory of raw materials finished products and packaging materials. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of safety guidelines excellent material handling skills and the resilience to work in cold conditions.

• Operate high reach stand up forklifts safely in the freezer environment adhering to all company and OSHA safety regulations.
• Load and unload materials ensuring the integrity of goods while optimizing space usage within storage areas.
• Accurately pick pack and stage orders for delivery meeting company standards and customer expectations.
• Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment promptly reporting any issues to maintain optimal operational conditions.
• Maintain a clean organized and efficient workspace including the freezer to uphold safety and productivity standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel and management to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and adherence to production schedules.
• Manage inventory movements meticulously maintaining detailed records for accuracy and accountability.
• Engage in continuous learning and development to refine forklift operation skills and stay abreast of best practices in warehouse management.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certified Forklift Operator with proven experience in high reach stand up forklifts preferably in freezer or cold storage settings.
• Extensive knowledge of health and safety practices related to industrial freezer operations.
• Ability to withstand cold temperatures for extended periods and manage temperature variations.
• Demonstrated attention to detail for precise material handling and inventory tracking.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities for seamless collaboration with colleagues.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy items and frequent climbing in/out of forklifts.
• Strong commitment to ongoing professional growth in forklift operations and warehouse management.

• Schedule: 1st shift Monday Friday.
• Pay Rate: Negotiable commensurate with experience.
• Location: Tamaqua Please note this role requires onsite presence.
