We are hiring for our client PyjamaHR.
Overview:
The MERN Stack Developer plays a crucial role in the organizations web development team responsible for building and maintaining highquality web applications using the MERN (MongoDB Express.js React Node.js) stack. This role requires a strong understanding of the MERN stack technologies and the ability to translate design and wireframes into highquality code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux Flux and Webpack.
- Building reusable components and frontend libraries for future use.
- Translating designs and wireframes into highquality code.
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of webcapable devices and browsers.
- Building and managing APIs and Microservices using Node.js and Express.js.
- Designing and implementing data storage solutions using MongoDB.
- Implementing security and data protection on the applications.
- Integrating userfacing elements developed by frontend developers with serverside logic.
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Staying updated on emerging technologies/industry trends and applying them into operations and activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g. Immutable.js).
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Good understanding of serverside CSS preprocessing platforms such as LESS and SASS.
- Proficient understanding of crossbrowser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Experience with MongoDB Mongoose and other data modeling tools.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
