The Role:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team.
• This is a critical role responsible for all aspects of the accounting cycle including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.
• You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information and supporting the companys strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable including processing invoices verifying accuracy and making timely payments.
• Oversee accounts receivable including issuing invoices collecting payments and managing customer accounts.
• Process payments from clients & perform collections from overdue clients.
• Create and share critical financial reports to a variety of stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage deferred revenue.
• Interface with outside vendors / payees
• Maintain the general ledger & assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting while documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Manage and comply with local state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Analyze financial data identify trends and provide insights to management.
• Support with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
• Assist with yearend closing procedures and audits.
• Stay up to date on accounting best practices and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments including sales product development design and management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Ability to produce quality materials within tight time frames and manage several tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Microsoft NAV Dynamics.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
