Overview:
The Magento Lead plays a crucial role in leading and managing the development and implementation of Magentobased ecommerce solutions. They oversee the technical aspects of projects provide technical guidance and ensure the successful delivery of highquality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients understanding their business objectives gathering requirements and providing regular updates on project progress.
2. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients to gather and document detailed requirements translating business needs into technical specifications and actionable project plans.
3. Project Management: Lead Magento projects from inception to completion including planning scoping resource allocation scheduling and budget management.
4. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Magento developers fostering a collaborative and clientfocused work environment.
5. Magento Development: Handson development and customization of Magentobased solutions ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals.
6. Architecture Design: Design scalable and maintainable Magento architectures that meet client needs considering factors such as performance security and usability.
7. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards to deliver highquality solutions.
8. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues bugs and performance bottlenecks in Magento applications providing timely support and maintenance.
9. Client Satisfaction: Proactively address client concerns manage expectations and ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest Magento developments trends and best practices and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading and managing Magento development teams.
- Indepth knowledge of Magento architecture components and customization techniques.
- Proficiency in PHP MySQL HTML CSS and JavaScript for Magento development.
- Experience in integrating Magento with external systems such as ERP CRM and payment gateways.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce business processes and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Magento performance issues.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively lead a technical team.
- Experience in implementing responsive design and mobilefriendly solutions in Magento.
- Magento certification(s) would be a plus.
