Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
Write clean efficient and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Design and implement data storage solutions using databases such as MongoDB PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Implement security and data protection measures in accordance with industry best practices.
Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and stability.
Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay updated with the latest Node.js and JavaScript trends tools and frameworks.
Requirements:
6 years of experience working with Node.js and Express.js framework.
Proficiency in JavaScript and asynchronous programming concepts.
Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React Angular or Vue.js.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
Knowledge of database design and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha Jest or Jasmine.
