Senior java developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop highquality software design and architecture
• Identify prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write welldesigned efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies
• Contribute to technical documentation
• Implement best practices standards and guidelines
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure and maintain high quality code
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Participate in Agile methodologies and ceremonies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven work experience as a Java Developer or similar role
• Handson experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Objectoriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Profound insight of Java and J2EE internals (Classloading Memory Management Transaction management)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2 Hibernate)
• Experience working with Spring framework
• Experience with testdriven development
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of Python C or C# is a plus
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams
