Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing and examining patients to establish their medical condition
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to obtain information on a patients condition
• Attending ward rounds with consultant medical staff
• Providing general pre and postoperative care
• Monitoring and administering medication as prescribed by senior healthcare providers
• Collaborating with other medical and healthcare professionals to devise individual care plans for patients
• Conducting routine procedures like venepuncture cannulation and wound management
• Assisting in medical emergencies
• Keeping accurate records and documenting patient care services
• Keeping abreast of medical developments treatments and medications

Required Qualifications:

• MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery) degree from a recognized institution
• Valid registration with the Medical Council
• Excellent understanding of medical procedures patient care and healthcare protocols
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
• Knowledge of various diagnostic procedures and treatment protocols
• Good organizational and timemanagement skills
• Understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality
• Capability to handle stressful situations and medical emergencies effectively
