Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented PCB Designer to join our team. The PCB Designer will be responsible for designing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various electronic products. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in PCB layout design proficiency in CAD software tools and a strong understanding of electronic components and manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand design requirements and specifications for PCB layouts.
  • Design and develop highquality PCB layouts using CAD software tools ensuring compliance with industry standards and design guidelines.
  • Perform schematic capture component placement and routing of PCBs to meet performance size and cost requirements.
  • Conduct design reviews and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize PCB designs for manufacturability reliability and performance.
  • Generate fabrication and assembly documentation including Gerber files assembly drawings and bill of materials (BOM).
  • Coordinate with PCB fabrication vendors and assembly partners to ensure timely and costeffective production of PCB prototypes and production runs.
  • Conduct design validation and testing of PCB prototypes troubleshoot issues and implement design improvements as needed.
  • Stay uptodate with advancements in PCB design technologies tools and methodologies to continuously improve design processes and practices.
  • Adhere to company policies quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the design and development process.


Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience (2 years) as a PCB Designer or similar role in the electronics industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software tools such as Altium Designer OrCAD Allegro or KiCad.
  • Strong understanding of PCB layout design principles signal integrity and EMC/EMI considerations.
  • Knowledge of electronic components circuit design principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving design issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing PCB design and manufacturing (e.g. IPC standards).
  • Experience with PCB fabrication and assembly processes including DFM/DFT considerations is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of impedance matching signal integrity and power integrity.
