Time-series DBA

• Design deploy and maintain Timeseries Databases( 2 3 years ) including preferable is Timescale & PostgreSQL InfluxDB and others.
• Configure database parameters to optimize performance scalability and reliability.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Stay up to date with the latest database technologies and best practices.
• Mentored junior team members and guided database administration tasks.

• Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization.
• Should have worked on data base clustering and high availability and geographical redundancy or BCP or Disaster recovery. Experience with database replication clustering and highavailability solutions.
• Knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures.
• Familiarity with database schema design and data modeling concepts.
• Strong understanding of database security principles and best practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good tech skill combination is Timescale AWS or Cassandra AWS
• Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible or BASH or Python scripting for database provisioning and configuration management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS ( preferred) good to have Azure or Google Cloud knowledge.
• Knowledge of other Timeseries Databases such as Cassandra or Druid. ( good to have)
• Linux OS experience
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.

• WFO/WFH Work from Office all days of the week.
• Shift Timings Normal India timings
• Certifications Good to have but hands on experience is preferred.
• Experience in PaaS Good to have
• Notice Period Immediate joining or maximum 15 days notice
