About The Role:
The Executive Assistant & Business Manager role will be pivotal for the company s success as they will become the primary support for the CEO and be a key player in all parts of the business s growth. This person will be responsible for a range of executive assistant tasks for the CEO as well as being a key player in growing and managing the Nepalese back office and helping to refine and streamline existing business processes.
Key Projects / Responsibilities:
- Business Management Project management of client workflows producing regular reports and tracking the business performance of leads deals and annual reviews.
- Email Management Managing the inbox of the CEO including responding to forwarding and following up on certain emails as necessary.
- Admin Assistance Supporting the CEO in liaising with and following up on clients booking meetings etc.
- Process Management Mapping refining and managing company processes and workflows.
- Team Meeting Support Taking notes and assuring the implementation of action items discussed in team meetings.
- Human Resources Assistance in all areas of HRrelated concerns including recruitment onboarding training and leave management.
- Commissions & Incentives Management Assisting with calculating commissions for mortgage brokers and admin related to payments.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce Business Science and/or related field.
- Experience in working as an Executive Assistant for a senior leader/CEO for at least 2 years.
- Preferably experience working in the mortgage industry.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with multiple complex projects.
- Ability to think fast on their feet and to discuss and resolve multiple issues on the fly in discussion/collaboration with leadership.
- Excellent task management prioritization and the ability to get things done especially where limited guidance or supervision is available.
- Demonstrated ability to empathize connect with and manage team and clients including supporting staff experiencing stress and/or complaints.
- Strong research skills and the ability to simplify broad ranges of options to simple decisions for leadership.
- Commitment to personal growth and professional development.
- Beyond reproach in regard to honesty transparency and reliability.
Practical Requirements:
- Availability 5 days/week working Sydney AEST 9 am 5 pm office hours (willing to be flexible but we need to align calendars).
- Have their own dedicated office space (quiet and without distractions).
- Reliable highspeed internet connection.
- Backup internet connection and energy generator where necessary.
