Part II Architectural Assistant

Our client is an employeeowned practise based in Waterloo specialising in residential prime residential and hotel projects. They have grown since 2000 to have a headcount of 40 employees.

Tasks

• Collaborate with architects and senior team members in developing design concepts and translating them into architectural plans.
• Use software like AutoCAD Revit SketchUp and Rhino to produce detailed drawings 3D models and visualizations.
• Assist in preparing technical drawings specifications and construction documents.
• Coordinate with other team members such as engineers contractors and consultants to ensure the smooth progression of projects.
• Ensure that designs comply with relevant building codes zoning regulations and sustainability standards.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications ARB Part 2.
• Previous practice experience.
• Experience in the residential sector is preferable.
• A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent lifelong learning.
