Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.

• Plans implements and documents nursing care based on patients needs.
• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment planning intervention and evaluation.
• Develops implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Initiates assessment based on the patients problems or needs the physicians medical diagnosis and the functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Manages care of patients.
• Documents care based on standards of care and practice patient acuity and/or clinical priorities.
• Advocates for evidencebased practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidencebased practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provides patientcentric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills: Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years (recent) Telemetry experience required.

Education: Required Education:

• ASN.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education:

• BSN.
• Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• BLS AHA.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multistate compact license.
• NIHSS.
• ACLS.

Schedule Notes:

7:00 PM 7:30 AM Weekends Required Holidays As Needed. No oncall. 13week assignment BLSaha ACLSaha NIHSS Required Minimum 1 year of RNMedSurg/Tele Experience Required (2 years preferred) Will be required to float wherever needed. Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were predisclosed prior to the offer. Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority.
