Job Title: Butcher
Location: Keston Kent
FullTime (Mon Fri occasional weekends)

Main duties to support the owner/butcher in delivering superb quality meat and customer service. Join a friendly team

Duties:
Cut trim and prepare meat products according to customer specifications
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of meat products
Operate and maintain butchering equipment and tools
Receive and inspect meat deliveries for quality and freshness
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Assist with the preparation of specialty cuts such as steaks and roasts
Package weigh and label meat products for display or storage
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations

Requirements:
Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent knife skills and knowledge of different cuts of meat
Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
Flexibility to work weekends evenings and holidays as needed
Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
