Job Title: Maintenance Technician Generalist 2nd/3rd Shift

Salary: USD $23.95 $34.20 / hr

Position Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician Generalist you will be responsible for troubleshooting maintaining and repairing all equipment and company assets in a food processing environment while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting repair and technical support for all phases of the operation
• Understand and utilize technical and training manuals effectively
• Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals maintaining accurate records
• Complete assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor
• Maintain general housekeeping duties in the department
• Comply with safety food safety GMP and SQF requirements
• Rotate through various positions as required
• Possess proficiency in multiple skill clusters including basic electrical electrical controls fluid power mechanical systems welding fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Perform physical tasks such as standing walking bending stretching climbing pushing reaching climbing stairs and ladders and lifting up to 75 pounds
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective performance in this role

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of maintenance technician work experience documented in the work history section of the application OR graduation from an industrial maintenance training program
• Combination of employers experiences totaling at least 6 months will be considered
