Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care for patients in the CVICU
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care as needed
• Utilize critical thinking skills to make informed decisions about patient care
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities
• Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in highpressure situations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Prior experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit or critical care setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac monitoring and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and challenging environment
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Emotional resilience and the ability to provide compassionate patientcentered care
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and healthcare technology
