Our automated fulfillment centers are the most modern of their kind supplying thousands of households with fresh groceries every day. To achieve this we are looking for a strong team of highly motivated and analytically skilled logistics experts for our brand new site in Oberhausen. This is an unique opportunity to build this new site from scratch together with a young and ambitious team!

As Automated Fulfilment Center Lead at Picnic you are dedicated to driving efficiency innovation and customer satisfaction through strategic process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. With a blend of technical expertise leadership skills and a passion for excellence you are committed to maximizing the performance and profitability of automated fulfillment operations of Picnic.

What youll do

• Identifying opportunities to enhance operational processes and implementing improvements to increase efficiency accuracy and costeffectiveness.
• Managing and optimizing the use of automated technologies and systems within the fulfillment center including robotics conveyor systems and warehouse management software.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance operational processes and implementing improvements to increase efficiency accuracy and costeffectiveness.
• Implementing quality control measures to ensure that orders are accurately picked packed and shipped according to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy ontime delivery and labor productivity to track performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting lean methodologies facilitating problemsolving workshops and empower crossfunctional teams to identify and implement process enhancements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the fulfilment team and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
• No nonsense attitude towards 5s (cleaning organized etc) attitude & skilled in training coaching & implementing these standards improvements

About you

• University degree preferably in engineering or supply chain management.
• Bring at least 10 years of experience in largescale warehousing operations with a preference for automation expertise.
• Demonstrate 35 years of handson experience in lean management and/or value stream design including relevant certification.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of motivating and guiding teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Strong analytical capabilities proficient in data analysis tools such as Tableau and Excel.
• Handson mentality translating ideas into action and leading by example to drive success.
• Fluent proficiency in both English and German languages.
