Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical consultations and examinations to diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to aid in medical decisionmaking.
• Prescribe medication and formulate longterm management plans for chronic conditions.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
• Assess and monitor patients progress and response to treatment.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention health promotion and treatment plans.
• Contribute to clinical audits research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and evidencebased practices.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical license to practice as a General Medicine specialist.
• Minimum of 2 years of postqualification experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of internal medicine principles and practices.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decisionmaking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
• Sound knowledge of medical ethics patient confidentiality and consent.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
