Junior Copywriter

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and writing creative copy for marketing campaigns including but not limited to website content advertisements and social media posts
• Conduct thorough research on industryrelated topics to generate ideas for content
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and create content for various marketing channels
• Proofread and edit copy to ensure it is grammatically correct and adheres to brand guidelines
• Work with graphic designers to ensure that the visual elements of the content complement the copy
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing
• Assist in developing and maintaining the brand voice and tone across all content
• Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas and solutions
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency and accuracy of information

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in English Journalism Marketing or related field
• Demonstrated ability to write clear concise and engaging copy
• Strong grasp of grammar punctuation and language usage
• Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating creativity and strong writing skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimization
• Knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences
• Experience with copywriting for digital and print marketing materials is a plus
