In this role youll join our collaborative team embedded within one of the UKs largest longterm savings businesses. Embracing a hybrid working model youll spend two days a week at the end clients office fostering close collaboration and understanding. As a BI Developer youll oversee the entire development lifecycle working closely with stakeholders such as Project Managers and Technical Architects to design deploy and maintain BI frameworks tailored to our clients needs. Tasks

• Champion adherence to quality gates and milestones within the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Collaborate with diverse teams ensuring seamless delivery of technical solutions.
• Take the lead in crafting and presenting technical designs for stakeholder approval.
• Mentor junior developers fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure high standards of quality maintainability and performance through thorough reviews.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation to support ongoing operations.
• Facilitate smooth handover and knowledge transfer to support teams for production applications.
• Uphold strict adherence to change and configuration management processes.

Requirements

Essential:

• Experience developing Extract Transformation and Load (ETL) processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience working with Oracle databases in a development environment.
• Experience using SQL Developer SQL*Loader and TOAD tools in a development environment.
• Experience with Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Experience in solution estimating.
• Full life cycle implementation exposure of data warehouses.

Desired:

• Experienced in the Financial sector adept at developing tailored Business Objects solutions.
• Skilled in integrating diverse data sources including XML files for comprehensive insights.
• Expert in implementing complex business rules efficiently using reusable transformations.
• Proficient in optimising solutions for peak performance using advanced tuning methods.
• Experienced in leveraging Informatica command line utilities for streamlined workflow management.
