This position is responsible for engineering electrical controls projects from design to commissioning. Primarily in the municipal water and wastewater industry.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design electrical schematics for control panels motor control centers power distribution panels and assorted wiring diagrams.
• Create Bill of Materials for each project
• Develop Control Narratives for the intended function of the project.
• Read and follow project plans and specifications.
• Support the control panel shop during the manufacturing process with design related questions.
• Manage all project documentation per company standards and project specific requirements.
• Communicate with customers throughout the design and construction phases of the projects.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in a project engineer role (or similar) including design implementation and project closeout.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or 2year Associates degree in Automation related field. Preferred but not required.
• Experience with electrical CAD Software.
• Candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of coworkers management and clients.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks have excellent attention to detail and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience with project management covering initial concept/proposal design implementation and closeout.
