Granulation Expert is expected to Initiate Propose and Execute research and development Debottlenecking/Revamp and new product development programs directed towards the improvement of processes and introduction of new products. Lead inhouse new process technology development scaleup & implementations in commercial granulation. Provide technology support to commercial plants for the shutdown turnover and recommissioning as needed. Provide troubleshooting & root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants. The technologist is also expected to provide support in Growth Projects

Responsibilities:

• Provide troubleshooting & Root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants
• Steering various new postreactor product developments through Granulation Techniques
• Participate in inhouse new process technology development scaleup & implementations in commercial plants
• Effectively Engage and Lead Feasibility studies & Revamp studies and support to run the granulators effectively at plant scale and at semicommercial scales
  
• Independently Review Engineering Documents & Steer
• Design and supervise pilot plant experimental runs for the assigned tasks including preliminary reviews data interpretation and final reporting
• Collect and interpret plant process data and make recommendations for improvements and ensure work is standardized and processes are optimized.

MustHaves:

• A Masters degree from a recognized and approved program Ph.D. is preferred
• 15 years experience as a Scientist/Engineer specializing in Technology Development Plant Support Modeling and Optimization (10 years if they have a PhD)
• Urea Granulation experience
