Job Description

The role is responsible for establishing and implementing a cost control system for West Bay Beach (WBB), supervising the receiving and store section. Handle financial aspects related to cost management, wastages and pilferage. Provide financial reports to the General manager to support with budgeting and forecasting Other key responsibilities are: • Conduct monthly physical inventory, produce monthly outlet inventory report for adjustments. • Consolidate monthly inventory/costing report, send to all outlets for verification and justification if required, ensuring all discrepancy are cleared and fixed timely. • Supervise store activity including ordering, receiving, delivering stock to and from outlet, ensuring workflow are followed as per standard procedure. • Conduct inventory spot check in all stores and facilities comparing against the par stock level, communicate any discrepancies observed to general manager for necessary actions to ensure full compliance. • Update POS system for any revision in business, such as adding new item or deleting old item with the approval of General Manager, coordinate with IT for any issues to ensure POS system are functioning smoothly to support the business requirement. • Review cost and selling price of all items, by conducting comparison report and present it to management for approval on regular basis. • Prepare and analyze conversion unit of measure in the system to ensure costing are updated as per operational target and maintained accurately. • Consolidate and send daily/monthly inventory report to the Management, providing complete reconciliation report, making necessary adjustment. • Prepare costing and selling price for combo deals and any other promotion activities, in collaboration with executive head chef and operations managers, to achieve sales budget with minimum cost. • Perform other departmental duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department. Qualifications We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional with: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent • 4+ years of job-related experience • Inventory control experience, preferably within Hospitality industry. • Qualification in Financial Accounting or equivalent.
