Certified Medical Assistant

Description:

Our client is a busy Urgent Care center seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to play a crucial role in managing customer flow and assisting providers in delivering individualized care to customers of all age groups. Your responsibilities will include clinical care clinic support and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of customer flow throughout the clinic

Provide support to the clinic including front desk/checkin support and ordering and stocking supplies

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant
• High School graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required one year of on the job experience or training OR participation in a registration program conducted by an accredited by a national health services organization such as American Medical Technologists and passing the credentialing exam.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Passed xray operators examination or willing to take exam according to individual clinic needs.
• Occupational Medicine experience preferred.
