My client is a forwardthinking marketing firm based in Dayton Ohio dedicated to delivering innovative marketing solutions to businesses across various industries focusing on creativity datadriven strategies and client satisfaction.

Position Overview: The New Business Development Representative will help expand clientele. You will be at the front of the company and be dedicated to creating and applying an effective sales strategy. Your goal will be to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with new clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities including new markets growth areas trends customers products and services.
  • Generate leads and coldcall prospective customers.
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
  • Understand your customers needs and respond effectively with a plan to meet them.
  • Think strategically seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
  • Work strategically carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes.
  • Must have a good understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to advise others about them.
  • Train members of your team arranging external training where appropriate.
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.

Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven working experience with at least three years experience as a business development manager sales executive or relevant role.
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Market knowledge.
  • Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport.
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Must be currently living in the state of Ohio or willing to relocate.
