Role Overview:As a Labour Affairs Specialist for our client you will play a critical role in managing relationships between the company and its employees ensuring compliance with strategic decisions policies and relevant laws. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to create conducive work environments provide clarity on labourrelated matters and facilitate continuous development initiatives. Upholding labour laws and regulations you will interpret and apply legal frameworks to support the clients objectives while actively engaging with unions and other stakeholders to maintain professional standards in negotiations and dialogues. Additionally you will champion a culture of compliance safety and employee wellbeing proactively addressing any issues related to misconduct drug and alcohol policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive relationships between the client and its employees unions and stakeholders.
  • Interpret and apply labour laws agreements policies and guidelines to support strategic decisions and direction.
  • Provide expertise in labour law compliance offering guidance to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to simplify processes and promote adherence to laws regulations and company culture.
  • Proactively address issues related to employee misconduct drug and alcohol policies ensuring a safe and supportive work environment.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to facilitate negotiations dialogues and dispute resolutions in line with company values and standards.
  • Conduct training sessions and awareness programs to educate employees on labourrelated matters and promote a culture of compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Law Industrial Relations or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in labour affairs industrial relations or related roles within a global organization.
  • Indepth knowledge of labour laws regulations and best practices across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and provide practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards confidentiality and integrity in all interactions.
