Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia Gaylord MI

Munson OMH is looking to bring on CRNAs for their full time need starting May or sooner. MondayFriday with 6 call shifts/month. Rate cap is xx230/hour.

Practice Setting: Anesthesia coverage for the hospital

Schedule (Shifts/Hours):

6:45a3:15p (with .5 lunch 8hr total) and 6:45a5:15p (with .5 lunch 10hr total)

Call Preferred 6 call shifts/month Weekend call is Fri (3p or 7p) to Mon (7a). MonThur call is 7a7a.

Call at OMH is Beeper call. If it is a weekday the provider on call will be covering a room during the day. MF The ORs operate from 7am 5 pm with the first cases starting at 0730. They run 2 rooms til 5 pm and 3 rooms until 3 pm during the week. There is only one call team available after 5 pm on the weekdays holidays and weekends.

Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: TBD call coverage only
Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level 4
Annual ER Volume: Approximately 19000 annually
Description of OR Staff: Traditional tech RN
Number of Operating Rooms: 5 ORs 2 procedure rooms
Will you Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License: Yes
Certification Requirement (BLS ACLS PALS etc.): BLS and ACLS
Training or Experience Required (Will You Accept New Grads): No we prefer experienced providers capable of servicing level 4 trauma facility with heavy general surgery and GYN labor & delivery
Patient Age Demographic (Pediatric Adolescent Adult Geriatric): Primarily Adult pediatrics are transferred out
Procedures Required: General Surgical Cases ADULT Minor Nerve Blocks IV Regional anesthesia
Procedures Required (cont.): Spinal Anesthesia Epidural Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Obstetrical Cases

2. Length of independent practice experience

4. How would you rate your comfort level with epidural placement
5. How would you rate your experience/skillset with Spinal Nerve Blocks
6. If full time availability Are you comfortable with a 1:5 independent call rotation
7. If not full time: What is your call availability
8. Any ties to northern Michigan
9. Any past terminations or corrective actions with past healthcare systems
