Sr Microbiologist

• Performing routine microbial limit testing of water raw material in process finished products and swabrinse testing according to established procedures and further analysis of specifies microorganism testing.
• Knowledge of Sterility testing.
• Environmental monitoring of company manufacturing rooms including the microbiology laboratory and its aseptic area.
• Performing culture transfer from mother culture provided by an approved vendor and monthly transfer of culture from stock to working culture.
• Identification isolation and enumeration of specific microbial populations.
• Performing monthly inhouse calibration of weigh balance BOD incubators hot air oven colony counter as per SOP and daily calibration of PH meter.
• Operation of Horizontal and Vertical Autoclave and its inhouse validation by using bioindicators.
• Specification report of products SOP preparation and document controls for product introduction.
• Monthly testing reports into excel file released batch and water trends.
• Investigated customer complaints regarding potential microbial contamination issues.
• Participated in external audits of F&D and Chille and Mozambique audits.
• Coordinated with external vendors for calibration services as needed for laboratory instruments.
• Ordered media and laboratory supplies from vendors.
