Asset Supervisor - VFX - Work from home

Our client is a thriving boutique style studio with a long history in VFX. They perform bespoke work for an international client base and have received many awards and notoriety for their work.

This is a workfromhome position. Looking for people working in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of artists and technicians in the creation and optimization of digital assets for use in visual effects projects.

Collaborate closely with the production team to understand project requirements timelines and resource allocations.

Establish and maintain efficient workflows and pipeline processes for asset creation review and delivery.

Provide artistic and technical guidance to the team ensuring consistency and quality across all assets.

Conduct regular reviews and feedback sessions to ensure that assets meet project specifications and client expectations.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to optimize asset production and delivery.

Mentor and train junior artists to develop their skills and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Stay updated on industry trends tools and techniques to improve asset production processes continuously and quality standards.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Graphics Animation Visual Effects or related field or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience (5 years in a supervisory capacity) working in a senior or supervisory role in the VFX industry with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in asset creation and management.

Indepth knowledge of industrystandard software tools and pipelines for asset creation such as Maya ZBrush Substance Painter etc.

Strong understanding of digital asset management systems and workflows.

Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver highquality work under tight deadlines.

Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
