Join our esteemed client a renowned familyowned logistics company based in Germany as they expand their footprint into the Automotive Contract Logistics sector. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Manager of Business Development to play a pivotal role in driving growth within this vertical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities and develop strategic plans for penetrating the Automotive and Contract Logistics sectors.
  • Client Acquisition: Proactively seek out and engage potential clients within the Automotive and Contract Logistics industries demonstrating our value proposition and capabilities.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients partners and industry influencers to foster longterm partnerships and drive business growth.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions that address the unique needs and challenges of clients in the Automotive and Contract Logistics sectors.
  • Networking and Industry Engagement: Represent our client at industry events trade shows and conferences to stay abreast of industry trends build our network and identify new business opportunities.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage budgets costs and financial performance related to business development activities ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including Operations Sales and Marketing to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives and successful client onboarding.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development within contract logistics automotive or related industries.
  • Indepth understanding of the Automotive and Contract Logistics sectors including market trends key players and business dynamics.
  • Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a resultsoriented mindset and the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Fluency in both German and English languages.
