As a Trademark Technical Assistant you will be responsible for advising and assisting clients on Intellectual Property matters with a focus on trademark protection. This includes conducting trademark risk assessments filing and prosecuting trademark applications globally and effectively managing international trademark portfolios.

• A bachelor s degree in political science or related fields and/or further studies in law would be ideal but not required;
  
• Experience in the same line of work would be an advantage but not essential;
  
• Ideally completed an accredited trademark course of study would be preferable;
  
• Excellent grasp of English both in verbal and in writing notably with previous experience in liaising directly with customers and stakeholders;
  
• Strong analytical ability;
  
• Drive and enthusiasm;
  
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills;
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of intellectual property and brand protection;
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  
• Proactive with a strong work ethic propensity to learn and sense of pride and accountability in work; and
  
• Ability to anticipate needs and respond to changing demands.

• Advising and assisting clients on Intellectual Property and in particular trademark protection including conducting trademark risk assessments filing and prosecuting trademark applications worldwide and managing international trademark portfolios.
  
• Providing oral and written advice to clients on a broad range of trademark matters.
  
• Conducting legal research.
  
• Preparing correspondence for submission to government trademarks offices and overseas associates in the pursuit of applications for trademark protection.
