Your impact:

As an Onshore/Offshore Laboratory Technician you will have the exciting opportunity to undertake soil testing in our onshore laboratory and provide support to our offshore operations. Your responsibilities will include sample logging laboratory testing quality assurance and data entry under the guidance of the Laboratory Manager.

The Job:

• Adhering to Geoquip Marine Policies and Procedures particularly focusing on quality health safety and the environment.
• Participating in health and safety talks meetings or training.
• Preparing testing and analyzing samples using laboratory tools or testing equipment.
• Recording and processing test data.
• Performing daily and weekly equipment checks.
• Ensuring timely execution of laboratory tests.
• Undertaking any other duties deemed necessary within your competence and function.
• Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Performing geotechnical description and laboratory testing of soil and rock samples.
• Producing borehole logs.
• Quality control of collected data.
