General Job duties. Types of procedures required. Must be competent to proficient in: Abdomen (Aorta IVC Liver/Biliary Pancreas Spleen and Renal. Both normal and Pathology). GYN (breast ovaries Adnexa Uterus Pelvis. Pathology and normal postmenopausal transvaginal adult and pediatric). OB (1st 2nd and 3rd trimester amniocentesis complications biophysical profile gestational age placental grading abnormalities IGUR Uterus/Adnexa). Procedures to include: aspirations biopsies drainage and intraoperative. Neonatal (congenital anomalies and neonatal head). Superficial structures (Abdominal wall breast focal masses hematoma scrotum & testes thyroid. Vascular (Carotid duplex segmental pressure studies upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex). Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.Canon i700; Meditech EMR Fuji Synapse PACSRequired skills and minimum years of experience.Min 3 years experience in an acute hospital setting.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. ARDMS in 2 specialties: Abdomen OB or vascular. Active BLS must be AHA Certified.Shift or schedule requirements.40hour shift work and call when appropriate.Floating to other units/departments.Ultrasound Cardiac OB/GYN and small part and Vascular.Dress Code: Personal scrubs healthcare professional attire.
