Title: Infrastructure Project Manager (No visas USC or GC only)

Location: Local to Columbus OH (hybrid position).

Duration: Longterm

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Senior IT Project Manager manages and guides crossfunctional teams to ensure projects are planned thoroughly and executed with appropriate urgency delivering results within agreed budgets and timelines while adhering to company guidelines and compliance requirements. In addition the Project Manager interacts with many technical and business resources across the enterprise to ensure alignment on the projects business value and ensures that value is delivered and adopted. The Senior Project Manager manages multiple projects and initiatives with mid to high complexity.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead and manage multiple project teams. Develop and execute resource plans staff the project team track the progress of tasks and manage the budget scope and schedule Responsible for estimating measuring forecasting status reporting managing risks supporting transition and project closure. Will participate in the vendor selection process where applicable
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to manage scope requirements and organizational change management required to adopt processes and technology delivered by the project
  • Track measure and communicate the timeline progress critical milestones and overall deliverables to project stakeholders. Adapt project plans based on risk mitigation plans and issues that arise during execution. Manage dependencies of other projects as applicable
  • Manage 3rd party vendor partnerships as applicable to ensure contract compliance and quality of deliverables
  • Prepare and present project status updates to leadership/executives driving for decisions and direction as needed
  • Participate in team meetings to ensure awareness of project successes learnings and issues
  • Provide guidance and coaching to the project team and other Project Managers. Work with project leaders architects and other key resources to provide solutions and resolve issues escalating as appropriate. Ensure deliverables and acceptance criteria are in line with the longterm vision of the organization and meet the objectives of the projects
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION:

    Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience

    Project Management and/or Lean Six Sigma and/or Organizational Change Management certification preferred

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of professional experience as an IT project manager or comparable role on medium/largescale software development projects
  • Experience in a telecom environment using voice solutions like Cisco or Genesys call center management and infrastructure required.
  • 2 years experience managing multiple complex technology projects at one time
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
  • Experience with organizational change management methodologies
  • KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES:

    Advanced experience with all areas of project management planning RFPs understanding ROIs resource management developing project plans managing risks/issues changes budget schedule and vendors

    Telecom industry experience call center management system deployments infrastructure project implementations required.

    Experience with voice solutions like Cisco or Genesys required.

    Excellent facilitation and organizational skills; able to interact and collaborate with technical resources and influence people on crossfunctional teams

    Ability to manage project teams with multiple priorities

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Strong leadership skills including experience presenting to executives

    Demonstrated ability to track and mitigate project issues and risks escalating appropriately

    Demonstrated ability to manage a team of resources both directly and indirectly providing guidance ensuring alignment and providing effective feedback

    • Ability to identify issues and problems generate solutions and choose alternatives using basic root cause analysis

    Strong familiarity with portfolio and project management processes and tools

    Ability to work independently when needed but also work in a collaborative teamoriented environment focused on common goals to achieve mutually beneficial results

    Prioritize and manage workload communicating issues clearly

    Continuous improvement mindset
