Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a permanent fulltime Registered Nurse Medical Surgical position. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Moab UT 84532

Start Date: 4/8/2024

Shift: 6x12hour shifts or 7 days on/7 days off per biweekly pay period shift changes 0600 and 1800.

Salary: $31 39.68/hour DOE OR $64480.00 to $82534.40

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Specific areas of responsibility will include medical surgical high acuity rehabilitative skilled and pediatric. Due to the rural location of the Hospital this is a great opportunity for a nurse looking to expand their skill sets given the variety of patient needs ages and acuities. There are also opportunities to expand into postpartum care and infusion and wound therapies as well as crosstrain in the Emergency Department and/or PACU.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

  • 12 years of medical/surgical experience preferred.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Licenses Certifications and Registration:

  • Current unencumbered Utah or compact state RN license.
  • Current BLS certification; current ACLS and PALS certifications or ability to obtain within one year of hire.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be willing to earn NRP certification and provide patient care appropriate to certification within one year of hire.
  • Knowledge of infection control principles patient safety techniques and prevention of adverse reactions to medications/treatments.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to maintain the same in situations with rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
  • Great customer service and communication skills including oral written and listening skills.
  • Able to receive and manage sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally; emotionally mature.
  • Reliable and timely with work schedule.
  • Flexibility and willingness to accept other duties as assigned.
