Lincolnshire Home Care are recruiting for home carers to cover Spalding and the surrounding area. Our new management team are passionate about providing jobs that respect our carers as much as our clients.

Our service is all about supporting vulnerable and elderly clients to retain their independence in their own home. It can be a demanding role that requires compassion understanding and listening. And at the same time it can be hugely rewarding knowing the difference you are making to someones life.

Your role will encompass all aspects of home care tailored to the clients needs. That might include personal care companionship meal preparation light domestic tasks taking clients to appointments or shopping and ensuring medication is administered in a timely manner. Some of your clients may be facing the end of life or dealing with dementia mobility difficulties or other health issues.

You dont necessarily need previous experience as a carer as full training and support will be provided and you will be paired with an experienced carer initially. You will need:

• Very good standard of English (spoken and written)

• Excellent attention to detail

• Reliability

• A flexible attitude

• A willingness to listen and learn

• A positive outlook

• A current valid full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

• At least 3 years right to reside and work in the UK

You will need a valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle in order to travel around the local area. Mileage rates are paid from the first call of your shift to the last.
