Senior Associate Employment

Our client is a vibrant and fast expanding law practice dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to its broad clientele. As we continue to grow our legal team we are looking for a competent Senior Associate to specialize on employment problems. Client is where passion meets expertise.

Position Overview: The ideal applicant will have a strong background in employment law and expertise with a wide range of employmentrelated issues. We represent both plaintiffs and corporate clients therefore the work is diverse and needs a thorough understanding of employment law concerns. This position demands a proactive and detailoriented individual who can offer strategic advice to customers while efficiently managing caseloads. Experience with partnership conflicts complicated incentive schemes trade secret litigation accommodation management leave and wagehour compliance is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Draft evaluate and advise clients on employment contracts policies and paperwork.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on employmentrelated problems.
  • Contribute to business development efforts such as training client email campaigns luncheons and networking events.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys partners and legal staff to create case strategy and solutions.
  • Provide legal counsel and direction to clients on a variety of employment issues including as discrimination harassment wage and hour compliance and employee relations.
  • Contribute to and maintain forms up to date such as releases handbooks employment agreements and noncompete agreements.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings negotiations and mediations.
  • Operate with great authority on topics while receiving monitoring and help as appropriate.
  • Prepare and advise customers on all forms of employmentrelated documentation.
  • Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations.

This is an inperson role. Hybrid work may be considered after six months of employment.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Active bar membership in Colorado.
  • 5 years of experience practicing law with demonstrable experience in employment law.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload and work independently.
  • Occasional support on other corporate or litigation matters as needed.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding client service.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Benefits and Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $135000 to $155000 based on experience. We offer a dynamic compensation scheme for senior associate level attorneys which allows opportunity for company development without jeopardizing bonus eligibility after reaching 1500 billable hours.
