Since the foundation of Famedly in 2019 we have made it our goal to digitize medical communication processes in a privacycompliant way and revolutionize the health system. As a dynamic remotefirst working startup with a growing and experienced team we sell messaging software to healthcare facilities and help improve treatment outcomes through easy communication between doctors nurses and therapists. By using Famedly staff productivity increases and connectivity to primary systems ensures rapid adoption.

Tasks:

As a FHIR Expert (m/f/d) you will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation and utilization of Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standards within our organization. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams and your work will mainly be focused around the research design and implementation of systems using FHIR. This will include both inhouse FHIR products as well as contributions to open source FHIR projects. Famedly relies on open source software and primarily uses Matrix and FHIR to modernize the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and secure backend systems
• Collaborate with frontend developers designers and product managers to deliver highquality software
• Taking part in the process of planning the wider stack and intraservice interaction
• Ownership of development processes f.x. defining and maintaining code quality standards and the systems that enforce them
• Ownership of the software development lifecycle

Requirements:

• You have 8 years experience in professional software development
• You have significant experience with FHIR
• You are a team player who can learn quickly and think creatively
• You understand that communication is one of the most important skills for a developer
• You have experience with relational databases
• You have experience in API design
• You are not afraid to own the complete process from design to production
• Bonus: You have a good understanding of Matrix decentral architecture and cryptography as well as some experience with working in agile teams.

A degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus. However we do not require a degree but are more interested in your skills. Feel free to share your GitHub/GitLab profile with us.
