Telco Technical Project Manager EPC IMS SDM

This team is there to address small updates and changes to be implemented with quite some dynamics involved and several domains to be covered. The deliverables include several stages to be coordinated: they require to be first implemented and validated in the test bed and then later deployed and verified in the operational network. On top of this there are some of the previously delivered functionalities that require some additional attention to evidence the complete requirements have been fulfilled.

Key Tasks:

  • Managing the highprofile critical projects with high visibility (customer and SR management)
  • Across all domains in the programme
  • Expertise on planning and coordinating test projects in telecom
  • Can engage in very detailed discussions with the customer
  • Proactively anticipate issues and risks define and implement mitigations
  • Expert in communications and bringing team together to jointly resolve issues (working as independent mediator between involved stakeholders)
  • Able to work without supervision and ensure proper stakeholder management
  • Able to make concise executive level status summary
  • Build and maintain good relationship with customer and operations team
  • Reporting inline with programme requirements
  • Alignment with all stakeholders (and stakeholder management) including customer management design and build
  • Migration activities and KPI improvement activities
    • Indepth knowledge of the network customer and operations stakeholders and other key information (often historical) is critical for proper performance of this role (at least 1 year experience on Maya)
    • Create migration plans align with all stakeholders (including indepth technical discussions) make sure all scenarios are properly tested and execute migration as planned with daily (Sometimes hourly) reporting to stakeholders often including to senior management.
    • Continuous alignment and coordination with all stakeholders
    • Have expertise on what and how to migrate specific functionality. Able to define test strategy and scope for new projects.
    • Critical customer activities from the customer that require urgent implementation (such as governmental obligations or alignment with content providers or MVNOs)
    • Coordination of all competences across all services to ensure delivery as requested
    • Priority setting and impact analysis on the fly
    • Requests are often based on limited information and requires a lot of Maya network knowledge to be able to address




Requirements

Previous Maya knowledge is advantageous

Telecoms experience

Extensive testing knowledge

IMS EPC SDM knowledge is essential
