Cyber Technical Analyst - Contract - Canberra

Requirements

• Writing and presenting security documentation.
  
• Providing technical and nontechnical advice to departmental programs in relation to security architecture best practices.
  
• Experience in reviewing and providing guidance on application and system integration designs relating to PSPF ISM and Essential Eight.
  
• Raising awareness of security issues with technical and nontechnical departmental staff.
  
• Implementing Essential Eight in other government agencies which includes technical uplift and guidance to a variety of stakeholders.
  
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
  

Skills and capability

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  
• Has sound judgement and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision to produce high quality outcomes.
  
• Awareness of and ability to anticipate and communicate the impacts of security risks.
  
• Ability to develop strong productive relationships communication skills and issue resolution.
  
• Ability to articulate and document technical security artefacts.
  

Desirable:

• Demonstrated experience in reviewing and providing guidance on application and system integration designs relating to PSPF ISM and Essential Eight.
  
• Demonstrated they have implemented Essential Eight in other government agencies which includes technical uplift and guidance to a variety of stakeholders.
  
• Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services in particular around technical assessments.
