Proposal Writer

This is a unique role; the candidate must have:

a)Technical background (part of presales solutions development or technical teams) with experience in scoping and estimating requirements automating the workflows and researching new topics.

b)Experience in improving on the current content as well as developing new content with the input of subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Solution Architecture Product Management and Engineering to assist in gathering and managing requirements for product demos
  
• Interface with Solution Architecture for managing requirements gathering and documentation of presales questionnaires
  
• Manage automation process of presales questionnaires
  
• Contribute to the research development and maintenance of pricing models
  
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Proposal/SOW endtoend workflow
  
• Assist with Scoping and estimation creating delivery approach and pricing models for various requirements
  
• Review and validate the inputs provided by various teams and consolidate for a response
  
• Develop ROMs decks SOWs and Proposals and present the technical approach and other details to internal teams and customers as required.
  
• Must be willing to work in US work hours.
  

Requirements

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Experience working with databases and applications and ability to comprehend the technical requirements
  
• Ability to read and interpret solicitation/requirement documents to develop proposal outlines compliance matrices schedules and other required proposal components to ensure proposals meet solicitation requirements
  
• Research and write content in response to various government and commercial contract opportunities utilizing the already existing content or write afresh
  
• Communicate and work well with the internal team
  
• Possess the ability to thrive in a fastpaced work environment

• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel and PowerPoint
  

Skills / Experience You Will Need: 8+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack 5+ years of solid Power BI experience (Power Query, M-Query, DAX, Aggregates). 5+ years of AWS experience. (optional) Working experience with Domo Experience in deploying Power BI at enterprise scale. Understand how to design Power BI solutions for performance (composite models, incremental refresh, analysis services). Experience building Power BI using large data in direct query mode. Embedded PBI reporting. Review the visualization use cases and determine whether the use of In-Memory models or Direct Query is needed Performance tune the tabular model to work with large data sets and/or complicated DAX formulas provide necessary support in Power BI Report Server infrastructure for Patching, Application Database Integration and support, future upgradation, DR Setup, troubleshooting, Disaster Recovery etc. Hands-on experience in PowerBI Admin, PowerBI Desktop, and Power Bi Reports Generation. Be familiar with MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies, such as SSRS, SSIS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, client-facing role, where delivering solid work products to exceed high expectations are a measure of success Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Eager to contribute in a team-oriented environment Strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills with a track record of meeting deadlines Ability to be creative and analytical in a problem-solving environment.
