Role: Sr. Java Developer
Location: Houston TX
Hire Type: Contract to Hire
Must be USC or GC Eligible to convert FTE
Required Skills
Background:
- 8 years of Java backend experience with Springboot
- Microservices deployment
- 23 years of hands on experience with AWS deploy java application on AWS troubleshoot
- Python Spark technologies is required
- Oracle and SQL knowledge
- AWS certification are nice to have but hands on experience is key
- Terraform experience is nice to have
- Must come from a Banking background
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build microservices using Java on Spring Framework
- Deploy the required application infrastructure using Terraform
- Deploy and run the microservices on AWS (EKS)
- Create AWS Lambda functions
- Develop PySpark code to process and load large datasets
- Adhere to firm mandated security and SDLC practices
- Create APIs for microservices to interact with each other
- Interact with partner technical teams in the course of project execution
- Interact with business stakeholders for key requirements and user acceptance testing
