To continue the growth of this reputable and very successful department we are seeking a trainee Property Manager to join our Block Management Team based at our Head Office in St Leonards on Sea East Sussex.
This position is ideal for a school or college leaver that wants to gain a career in property management or indeed for someone who takes an interest in the industry and is eager to learn. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our experienced and very hardworking team and to gain real handson experience which can lay the right stepping stones to a great career.
The right applicant will need to be highly motivated to learn organised professional and above all be able to deliver a firstclass customer service that is expected by our customers. You will also be expected to work towards gaining a qualification with the IRPM (Institute of Residential Property Management).
You will be part of a team looking after a wide spectrum of buildings and estates across Hastings Bexhill and Eastbourne. You will need to be able to build good relationships between contractors and clients and you will need to be a positive person who is able to deliver solutions to any problems reported and work well under pressure.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- To handle reports of maintenance issues quickly and efficiently
- Arranging suppliers and contractors for maintenance and quotations for various services
- To deal with customer enquiries efficiently via telephone and email
- To assist Property Managers with administrative tasks and record keeping
- To assist with preparing annual budgets
- To assist with regular property inspections
- To help prepare newsletters and other management circulars
- To assist with arranging various insurances on behalf of clients
- To help support the whole team with other day to day issues that arise
- To deliver outstanding customer service
- Keeping up to date with and abiding by all current legislation in the industry
What Apprenticeship Training will you Receive
The successful applicant will complete and obtain a Level 3 Housing and Property Management Qualification through Learning Curve Group.
You will be taught through:
- 46 Weekly 121 Sessions with your tutor
- 6 weekly hours of Off The Job Training
- The course is a 15 month long programme
