Teamworx is recruiting for an experienced Supermarket Store Manager to join our client which is a highly reputable awardwinning supermarket group located across Leinster. Now employing over 1000 staff within their six supermarkets and other businesses they are now looking to hire a leader for the organisation in a prominent store. As the Store Manager your role will be to manage a large team in this store by hiring training and motivating all teams and also taking responsibility for ensuring a high level of productivity growth in sales and effective management of costs while maintaining high standards throughout the store and ensuring an overall positive customer experience. This is a great opportunity for an experienced grocery professional preferably with a background in high convenience or supermarket settings possessing similar standards and familiarity with backoffice systems.

Responsibilities for this Supermarket Manager Job:

• Ensure the site runs efficiently and smoothly.
  
• Ensure store standards across the shop are maintained.
  
• As a manager looking at areas to improve and manage costs without affecting service or store standards
  
• Work with internal stakeholder management such as the head of HR and resourcing team to attract and retain the best staff for your site talent spotting coaching and developing your team
  
• Generating financial reports analysing store figures and reporting any discrepancies to the relevant department/Regional team.
  
• Take full care of Health & Safety and food safety make regular assessments and follow up on action plans
  

Requirements for this Supermarket Manager Job:

• Proven experience in a management position ideally within a grocery retail or convenience store setting.
  
• Proficient knowledge in using Microsoft Office (Excel Word).
  
• Experience in cash management till management and cash office would be an advantage but not essential.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic.
  
• Familiar with budgets KPIs and targets.
  
• Passion for grocery retail and working with the general public.
