DBA Specialist

As a DBA Specialist you will:

• Undertake the (re)designing of databases using scripting for optimal performance.
  
• Execute migrations updates and routine management tasks to ensure database reliability.
  
• Engage in technical solution development including automation of tasks like data retrieval and report generation.
  
• Participate in the planning and implementation of technology/processes in both daily management and projects.
  
• Analyze and resolve database functioning issues designing and maintaining strategies to prevent future disruptions.
  
• Support other Product Teams in optimizing database and application performance.
  
• Advise the Product Owner on improvements optimizations and innovations for the DBA platform.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• A minimum of an MBO degree with a preference for candidates holding an HBO degree.
  
• Current and demonstrable knowledge of DB2 PostgreSQL and preferably MSSQL.
  
• At least 4 years of recent experience in DB2 & PostgreSQL management implementation and migration.
  
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a management organization (DEVOPS/Agile).
  
• Proven experience in performance analysis/tuning and database design and monitoring within a DB2 and PostgreSQL environment.
  
• Familiarity with AIX TSM Linux and ITIL framework.
  
• Knowledge of Docker Ranger Kubernetes (K8S) is considered an asset.
