Responsibilities

• design and implement new solutions
• optimize and enhance existing services

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of professional software development experience in highly scalable distributed software components
• Proficiency in serverside Java Virtual Machine programming languages especially Java
• With proven experience in cloud application architecture and engineering AWS is the preferred
• Professional experience with Javabased web services RESTful framework and GraphQL and both relational and nonrelational database platforms
• Experience with largescale distributed system architecture
• Ability to trace through various services and determine root causes when issues occur
• Knowledge of common performance issues as well as a working experience with logs monitoring tools
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Development/Testing practices and methodologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a crossfunctional team
• Ability to lead small projects and platform initiatives

Required Education

BS/MS in Computer Science or SIM. field
