IT Technical Business Analyst

We are currently looking for an IT Technical Business Analyst for a government institution.

Hourly salary of $70 to $74.50 based on experience.
18month contract with a maximum extension term of 24 months.
Fulltime position 36.25 hours per week.
Hybrid work: 2 days per week in the office.
Weekday schedule from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:
Create review and update user stories and journey maps as applicable.
Develop system use cases flow diagrams and interactive mockups outlining functional requirements as required.
Document and validate results with subject matter experts and drive the creation of detailed business and functional requirements specification documents.
Document the key risks mitigating controls performance measures and business continuity plans for processes.
Coordinate with procurement specialists product owners business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure requirements are communicated and developed in alignment with business needs.
Assist procurement and contract specialists in completing solicitation and contracting documents ensuring clear documentation of business requirements providing guidance on evaluation criteria and aiding in responding to vendor inquiries.
Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the developed functionality meets business specifications.
Support the development of necessary system (nontechnical) documentation and make recommendations for policy and/or procedural manuals.
Aid in change management and training efforts to ensure the successful delivery of complex program changes.
Conduct postimplementation reviews identifying opportunities for backlog refinement and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with security and privacy teams to conduct security threat risk assessments and privacy impact assessments as required.
Apply and interpret complex legislations/regulations policies and standards when conducting user workshops and documenting business requirements.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelors degree in a related field.
5 years of experience in Agile Environment.
5 years of experience in Business Process Development.
1 year of experience in Risk Assessments.
1 year of experience in Test Data management.
